The Sziget Festival is a European music event which is hosted on a small Hungarian island (called Óbudai-Sziget) upon The Danubio, in Budapest.

It takes place every year on the 2° week of August.

Originally, when it was born in 1993, there were only hungarian artists playing. Over the years this festival has changed its soul, becoming gradually more and more global.

It has risen from 43k guests on the first edition in 1993 to 500k people enrolled on 2016.

Sziget is famous for proposing, on its 60 stages, many different kind of music: pop, rock, metal, hip-hop, blues, afro, reggae, world music, folk, electronic, jazz, classical and, obviously, house, edm and tech-house music.

Dj set, concerts, theatrical performances, films projection, circuses events, street artists, exhibitions and sport events are just some of all the amazing things Sziget can show you.

This is one of the biggest festival of the entire world. 

Sziget has got a camping within its area and its capacity it’s over 45k people.
